The Radiance of His Glory
Hebrews 1:1–4

God has spoken across history through the prophets, but in these last days He has spoken in the Son. Jesus is not one religious voice among many; He is God’s climactic self-disclosure.
The Son is heir of all things and the One through whom the worlds were made. The child of Bethlehem stands before creation and possesses its final future.
He is the radiance of divine glory. As light reveals its source without being separated from it, the Son makes the Father known while sharing fully in the one divine being.
He is the exact imprint of God’s nature. We do not look past Jesus to find what God is really like. His holiness, compassion, authority, truth, and self-giving love reveal the Father.
The Son upholds all things by His powerful word. The One sustaining galaxies also sustains the breath with which we read His promise.
Having made purification for sins, He sat down. The glory that creates and sustains also stoops to cleanse, and the seated Christ declares His priestly work sufficient.
He is superior to angels and every created messenger. Spiritual fascination must never move our attention away from the unique Son in whom God has spoken salvation.
Fix your gaze on Jesus. The glory of God is not hidden behind Him but shines through His person and finished work, near enough to trust and worship.

Tozer treated the Trinity as revealed mystery: one God eternally existing in three Persons, beyond complete comprehension yet necessary for faithful worship.
Hebrews centers that wonder in the Son. The divine radiance who makes the Father known also purifies sinners and reigns at His right hand.
A Prayer
Holy God,
Father, thank You for speaking fully and finally in Your Son.
Lord Jesus, radiance of divine glory, correct every thought of God that turns away from Your person and cross. Uphold my faith by Your powerful word.
Holy Spirit, open my eyes to behold the Son, rest in His completed purification, and worship the triune God. Amen.
