The Song of Moses and the Lamb
Revelation 15:1–4
“Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!”

John sees those who have conquered standing beside a sea like glass mingled with fire. Their victory does not resemble the empire’s violence; they conquered by fidelity to God and the Lamb.
They sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. The deliverance from Egypt and the redemption accomplished by Christ belong to one unfolding story of God rescuing a people for Himself.
Their song is centered upon God rather than their own endurance. His works are great, His ways just and true, and His reign extends over the nations.
Divine justice is worthy of worship because God never judges with ignorance, corruption, prejudice, or cruelty. His verdicts flow from perfect knowledge and holy love.
‘Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?’ Holy fear recognizes that every rival power is temporary and every hidden deed lies open before the true King.
God alone is holy. The worshipers do not claim moral triumph over their enemies; they locate all purity and victory in Him.
All nations will come and worship because His righteous acts have been revealed. The final horizon is not one people gloating over another but redeemed peoples bowing before God.
Learn the song before the shore is visible. Praise the justice and faithfulness of God while history still feels unfinished, trusting the Lamb to bring His deliverance to completion.

Tozer taught that God’s justice is inseparable from His holiness and goodness. He can neither be bribed nor mistaken, and His judgments never violate His perfect character.
Revelation 15 turns that doctrine into a song for persevering saints. God’s justice assures them that evil will not reign forever and that the Lamb’s way is true victory.
A Prayer
Holy God,
Lord God Almighty, great and marvelous are Your works; just and true are Your ways.
Keep me faithful when rival powers appear secure. Purify my longing for justice from pride, cruelty, and revenge.
Teach Your church the song of the Lamb until every nation comes to worship before You. Amen.
