In Communion, the church gathers around the finished work of Jesus—remembering His sacrifice, proclaiming His death, and receiving again the assurance of His grace.

A sacred remembrance of Christ.
On the night He was betrayed, Jesus took bread and the cup and gave them to His disciples as signs of His body given and His blood poured out for the forgiveness of sins.
We do not come because we are worthy. We come because Christ is worthy. The Table directs our eyes away from self-reliance and back to the Savior whose once-for-all sacrifice is sufficient for all who trust Him.
“For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.”1 Corinthians 11:26
At the Lord’s Table
The gospel is remembered by the gathered church.
Examine your heart
We come honestly—confessing sin, discerning the body, and resting in the mercy Christ freely gives to repentant believers.
Receive one another
Communion is a family meal. At one Table, the church remembers that grace has made many people one body in Christ.
Hope for His return
Every celebration points forward. We proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes and anticipate the feast of His coming kingdom.
First Sunday of each month
A table of grace for the people of God.
Word of Grace normally celebrates Communion during Sunday worship on the first Sunday of the month. The pastors guide the church through Scripture, prayer, reflection, and the sharing of the bread and cup.
