Week 52

Behold, I Am Coming

Revelation 22:12–21

“Surely I am coming quickly.”

Revelation 22:12–21 (NKJV)

The final pages of Scripture are filled with the voice of Jesus: He is coming, bringing justice, reward, and the completion of all things.

The One who comes is Alpha and Omega, root and offspring of David, and bright Morning Star.

His return makes present faithfulness urgent without making it frantic. History belongs to Christ and moves toward His unveiled reign.

The Spirit and bride say, ‘Come.’ The church longs for Jesus while still inviting the thirsty to receive the water of life freely.

Hope therefore looks upward and outward. Desire for Christ’s appearing deepens mission, holiness, solidarity, and mercy.

We do not alter His Word to avoid its demands or weaponize it to satisfy curiosity. We receive, keep, and announce it.

The final prayer—‘Come, Lord Jesus’—has sustained believers in comfort and persecution across generations.

End this volume where every faithful witness finally rests: not in courage itself, but in the grace and promised presence of the coming Christ.

In Conversation with Richard Wurmbrand

Wurmbrand’s appeal to the free church was shaped by urgent love for believers whose suffering could easily be forgotten.

Revelation places that responsibility within ultimate hope: we serve faithfully because Jesus is coming, His church is one, and His grace remains with all His people.

A Prayer

Lord Jesus,

Come, Lord Jesus.

Keep Your suffering church, awaken the comfortable, invite the thirsty, and make us faithful in the time entrusted to us.

Let courage, love, mission, and hope rest finally in Your grace. Amen.

Stand with Christ This Week

Faithfulness begins here.

Return often to Revelation 22:12–21. Let courage grow from a clearer vision of Christ, never from confidence in yourself.

Ask prayerfullyDoes Christ’s promised return produce escape, fear, or faithful love in me?What responsibility should I carry forward from this year of faithful witness?
