They Overcame
Revelation 12:7–12
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

Revelation unveils conflict larger than any earthly regime. The accuser seeks to define God’s people by guilt and fear.
Victory begins with the blood of the Lamb. Believers overcome through Christ’s finished sacrifice, not moral heroism.
The word of testimony makes that victory public: Jesus has become more decisive than the accuser’s story.
They do not love their lives unto death. This is not contempt for life, but freedom from making survival the highest lord.
Testimony may be dramatic or quiet: confessing Christ, telling truth, refusing betrayal, forgiving an enemy, or continuing to worship.
The enemy is not defeated when Christians adopt accusation as their own way of speaking.
Heaven rejoices because Christ’s authority is secure, even while the earth still feels the conflict’s fury.
Stand beneath the Lamb’s blood. Speak the true word entrusted to you and hold life as a gift already secured in Christ.

A Prayer
Lord Jesus,
Lamb of God, silence the accuser through Your finished work.
Give Your people a true and humble testimony. Free us from clinging to safety at the cost of faithfulness.
Keep our speech unlike the accuser and receive all glory for victory. Amen.
